Anyone going to Daytona Bike Week?

My wife and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary at BIKE WEEK 2013. We spent our honeymoon there, and have been going there for years.

This year we were fortunate to get a RV camping spot right on the beach at Gamble Rodgers State Park in Flagler Beach. We are between the ocean and A1A, and close to the "Loop".

We are asking as last year we got together with several VRCC members and we would like to do he same with both VRCC and VOA members for a scenic ride and a seafood lunch on the beach.

Pick a day and lets start planning...Lunch or dinner at Martins in Flagler  or any other place there are many...so far I am meeting a group of Rune guys at the cracker barrel at the track on the 15 at 9am

Pretty much, yes. However the number of vendors are way off from what it used to be. Last year at both Bike Week and Biketoberfest it was really sparse. There's a lot of vendors at the racetrack however.

Reminded me of a guy in high school that kept challenging me, never did figure out why. He was fat and his girlfriend was ugly. Finally I told him "OK, I'll meet you out behind the church." He wanted to know which church, I told him never mind the details, just be there. I showed up, he didn't. Guess he went to the wrong church!!

     Glad I got to go back when......... It was a unique experience. I'm sure it was a bothersome time for the locals. I got to the point I didn't feel welcome anymore so I haven't been back for years.

Ususally we have a lunch get together on the first Saturday of BikeWeek. Check the Florida board a week or two before for details.
We're 65 miles to the west of Daytona.
