just a headsup... just bought the tab2 7.0 supposedly on sale at best buy for $199.00 and a case for another forty bucks.. was totally happy until i went to costco and saw it for $189.00 w case included.. soo if yer lookin, look no further than costco

I have the galaxy tab, first one out. Actually using it now. A couple years ago when my wife upgraded her phone I got it for 99 bucks through verizion. But you have to pay a 20 dollar data charge each month a.d only get 1 gb. I rarley use 3g, usually use our wireless at home. Were due for another up grade next week and thinking about going with the 10 inch galaxy tab 2 or an I pad.

The ipad is very nice but rather expensive.  I'd get the 7" google nexus 7 for $199 all day long over any other 7" tablet as of now over the kindle fire HD and all others.   Worth checking out for sure.

Not a big fan of data plans on cell phones paying 20-30 bucks per month for internet access, etc. when you already pay 30-40 bucks per month (at least for me)  for internet access at home. Seems a waste of money UNLESS you travel a lot or the company you work for helps pay for it.

I have the galaxy 10. The wife has the ipad...they are both good at one thing or another. I am not a fan of touch screen typing, however I do like the size of the keys while typing. The ipad is PRICEY! The galaxy is less than half the price...

Surfing the net is great and quick on both....if I was ranking galaxy comes out on top bc of price...also have two kindle fire hds for the kids...great for the kidsmall for me....
