Corbin seat doesnt seat quite right

I have a Corbin Dual Tour seat that came with my 97 Tourer.  It's pretty firm but I like the seat for the most part.  What I don't like is that it doesn't fit as well as I would like, and rocks a bit from side to side.  Not a big deal when I am sitting on it, but noticeable.  Anyone else had this issue with a Corbin and rigged a fix?  I'm wondering if an industrial hook and loop underneath the seat or something might help.

I got a used Corbin seat recently.

It rocks from side to side a little too. It also wouldn't latch, so I shimmed the latch-hook.

I thought maybe I'd also strategically shim some of the rubber "standoff buttons" to
cure the rocking, but haven't done it. Maybe that will help... ?

In fact, even though I like the way the Corbin feels, it moves me back to an extent
that I put my Ultimate seat back on the other day...

Look at the seat pan to see if all the "buttons" are in place. If they are all there, notice if they are dry and cracked and squished out of shape. I replaced a couple cuz the seat was rocking a bit.  Corbin sent me a handful no charge. You'll need a rivet gun to replace the bad or missing ones.

Thanks Sheets looks like that is my problem.   I will check with Corbin.

I purchased my Corbin back in 2006. Both my wife and I really like it. However, It also wouldn't latch without a hard push. I treat it with Meguiar's Leather Cleaner/Conditioner.

I bought a used Corbin and it was tough to latch, impossible to latch if you were using the helmet lock.  I put a couple of washers under the U bar on the bottom of the seat that goes into the latch.  It locked okay like that, but did wiggle a little after I did that.  Wonder if the PO of the bike in the OP did that too?

I have a Dual Tour for an interstate, it doesn't rock at all. You do have to push down the front pretty hard to get it to latch though.
