I told my wife that we should get a divorce just so that our kids could afford college.

Doesn't it tick you off when the government "rewards" bad behavior and punishes people that live a "moral" responcible lifestyle.

The Pell Grant for school pisses me off the most. I'm entitles to it and use it along with my GI Bill for school. In the past, lower income students could apply for government financial aid, go to school and attend classes for the the first month or so, then drop out as soon as the check hits there bank account. Seen it happen multiple times at my community college. $2300 dollars a semester of free money wasted on god knows what.

Same deal on VA education assistance programs (which includes living expenses as well as education expenses), and we (taxpayers) rarely get paid back.

Granted i retired 4 years ago but even adjusted for whatever i never grossed 81 G in my career in any given year. But i managed-you know-raised kids bought houses vehicles boats motorcycles etc etc. At 81 G what exactly is the incentive to go to work??  And i ask YET again-who's frikkin money they gonna spend when they run out of ours????  Not very many people realize just how out of control this system really is!!  This whole damn shootin match running down hill wide open brakes burnt out and this whole durn train going into an extremely deep and endless hole.  RIDE SAFE.
