Will BP Pay?

If they are found neglegent they better! With the money they have made screwin the public they should have the money. If they are, will everyone jump on the raise your price band wagon still? Prices went up to $4.00 today whats next?

They have never said they wouldn't pay.
They have already paid billions.

I agree but, they have paid for cleanup overall which was a big chunk and did so without complaint. Along with other damages as well. They have tried to make things monitarily right.  The whole thing is if they are found "neglegent" what transpires? The cost could superceed anything they have done to this point.

As I hear it in the news, the suit by the fed govt. is to find BP guilty of "gross negligence". BP readily admits to "negligence". The primary difference is a few billion dollars. There have been settlement attempts without sucess.
I also learned that BP admitted to manslaughter relating to the deaths and that cost a few billion too.
It'll be interesting to follow.
