Bought a new helmet and added retroreflective tape

I recently bought a FF helmet. Love the protection and comfort, but it's VERY loud inside the helmet. Do you notice this with your FF helmets too? Mine is kind of a cheapy (Vega) but it's the only one the dealership had that would fit my XXXL head.

Also, I need to find a way to prevent the wind from coming up in under my chin, and into my face. Baclava doesnt solve the problem, because there is still a gap between my chin and the helmet. Wind in the face.

Any help would be welcome

Find an Apple Warmer. It has a semi solid plastic strip that goes between the helmet and the foam at the bottom of the helmet and has a drop down cloth that tucks into your jacket. Seals the gap from the helmet to your neck. RIDE SAFE.

did you try the hjc flip front?  i have an xxxl head also. the hjc fits nicely and is pretty quiet.

I always use ear plugs as well. No matter the helmet.

fork wind deflectors will stop the wind from coming up into the helment and stop the buffeting too..

The fork wind deflectors is a good suggestion.

Add a zub ( zubwear.com ) and you won't really care.

Well, I might be a red neck but...................

I almost always wear a baseball style cap with a bill.  But, I also wear  a helmet when I ride.  In warm weather, the cap goes inside a saddlebag, in cold weather it gets stuck inside my jacket with the bill covering my chin and the soft part tucked down inside my jacket.  Keeps the wind off my neck and chin, greatly reduces the air that blows up under my face shield.  I don't wear a full face but used to, didn't like the restrictions those helmets have.  But, the cap trick worked great for me in both type helmets for me.   

Might not work if yer not a ball cap wear'n redneck though.
