Granddaughter

Well I became a grandpa on the 21st of feb, she turned two week old yesterday and I took a week off of work to visit her and my son and daughter in law . Found out that the granddaughter had a valve in her heart that wasn't opening all the way , she just got out if surgery and doing great thank god for the dr.'s who caught it and the ones that performed the procedure. This kinda gives you a whole new perspective on life and and how we fragile it can be . Just thought I had to share .

Congratulations! And yeah, spending a month in the NICU when our triplets were born, you see the extremes of emotions, from the height of happiness to the darkest depths of despair...

Glad you're on the happy end of that spectrum!

Grand kids do indeed have a way of changing your prospective on life......And when they are born with problems you find out just how tough the little ones are. They fight hard for the life God has given.
It's also a time when you meet some of the best caring folks in the world......The Doctors and Nurses in the NICU's are truly some amazing folks.
Jim, I'm down but not out so if I can do anything for you let me know.....Say hello to the knew Grand baby for me.
