1997 honda valkyrie

I found a 97 valk reasonably priced. It looks great but has 126,000 miles on it. The only concerns I would expect would be possibly the final drive components and if it has been sitting for a while and has carb issues. What else should be my concerns. I know you can put 200,000 plus miles on these bikes. Any help would be great. I am looking forward to my first valk.

LOOK at shop talk. if the price is rite --get it ---what do you mean good for 200000 miles??? we have some with 450000 and still going strong.---------GOD BLESS-----

replace the timing belts...not an expensive or difficult maintenance to do yourself.

Even though 126,000 leaves a lot to go on the engine, consider that you may be in for replacing tubes, hoses, and seals along with other normal wear parts.  Keep that in mind with what you're willing to pay.

I second that. Offer $3,000 cash but have the $400 in the other pocket.
115,000 on the clock for this 1997. Original clutch, normal maintenance with a carb degunking a 78,000.  Grab it & go.
