I left Michigan this morning in  the motorhome fighting icy roads not to bad but enough to make you pay attention. I made it to Knoxville heading for a appointment in Gaffney SC to have the front axel repaired and new tires installed at the manufactures expense. No time to play as my wife just got out of the hospital and is still quite sick. I couldn't put off this trip off so i just came myself. I need to be back by Wednesday for her doc appointment. So then I read Joe's ride report and see we could have tornados on Monday. Great, should be fun in a MH. I'm this close to great riding and no bike and no time. The  weather today is beautiful and i did enjoy walking around with no coat on.I really need to move. I think I have spent my last winter in Michigan.  Dianna and I planed to come down and spend some time enjoying this great part of the country. I think those that live here already know how lucky they are . So here I am camping in the Walmart parking lot. They don't have ammo here either. People are the same though. Always fun people watch at the Walmart.
There is no real point to this just wanted to vent. If she gets feeling better we are coming back down.

I am tired of winters too. I've lived here in the same town all my life. I love the people and my job but I'm to the point where plowing snow and using the snowblower is just nothing but a chore. I think if I could find the same job in a warm state I would be tempted to move. But, (there is always a but) at my age and the profession I'm in, its getting to be a young mans game so I'm kinda STUCK. I can always dream about it though. Hope you make it.

I'll stick around up here,   Love the 4 seasons.    Besides, a little snow shouldn't stop ya to much.    4 of my kids live within 30 miles from me.   Oh, it ain't for the kids, it is the Grand Bables.......

It will stop your motor ridin for a while, but both you and your ride needs a break in all the action.

You should be OK in South Carolina tomorrow ( Monday ) the worst weather is coming through Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky and the more north the risk goes down. Next time you plan on coming through let me know I'm about 10 miles from I-75 at the Clinton / Norris exit 122.

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.
