Salt Lake City, UT.

Last week sometime  I washed and waxed the ol girl. Rolled into the garage for a few days. Rainy week. Sunday started her up and probably hit the throttle a little to hard. The bike died and was pretty hard to start back up. Notice later that day my headlamp was dead. First thing I did was replace the bulb. No good the female plug to the halogen bulb was also melted replaced that. Still no light check the fuse was blown as well finnally problem resolved. Anybody had this problem before seems like a awful lot of damage. Maybe it was the fuse along but the female plug was melted and good.

Lubricate the start button.
The start button kills the light while starting, and can stick on return, heating up the circuit/switch.
