St Patrick's Day and a Medal of Honor

Two of us Korean War Vets went to the local cemetery to pour some Irish whiskey on the grave of a Medal of Honor recipient, an  Irish veteran on this St. Patrick's Day.  What's very unusual is that the Medal of Honor recipient received it in the Civil war.  R.I.P Captain.

Note that a local group had a new tombstone made for the grave.

I lost my uncle in the Korean war.  That is a great photo, and a great act.  Respect and thanks.

Looking good Wayne. You have my respect as a Korean War Veteran, but also for being a stand up Patriot and a friend to everyone. I always enjoy reading your posts, and as a veteran myself, have a special place in my heart for my brothers in arms.
