South Carolina ride with Stanley Steamer...

Me and Stanley met up at Grits and Groceries on Saturday morning... After breakfast, we
headed down some backroads between the backroads towards towards the Southern
end of the lakes formed by damming the Savannah River...

We rode for quite a few miles through a controlled burn...



Cool old bridge over a deep gorge...



Many houses to been seen, some falling down, some kept up really well...



Me and Stanley split up when we got south of the Clark Hill dam, and he headed back to
Georgia, I headed towards Edgefield...







Finally, I had to get out on the main road...



Several hours later I was parked for the night at my friend's house, on a tidal creek
near Edisto...

Sounds great!  I hit Saluda, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Bat Cave & Hendersonville NC.  Also cruised Cherokee Scenic Hwy to Caesar's Head.

Burned through 1 & 1/2 bottles of Sea Foam in the tanks, and carb leak disappeared.  Must've been a stuck needle..

SO glad I don't have to tear in to the carbs!

Was fantastic weather!  Lotsa gearhead eye candy out this weekend.
