My name is Clint and the picture is of my 1950 Divco Milk Truck.
Retired, Own & Ride a Valkyrie, It doesn't get any better than this.

LemonDrop

Let me start by saying I live in the only hills in down, and my drive is about 45 degrees uphill.

My first bike was a Harley 883.  When riding with a group I felt like I could peddle faster, and I had to really twist it to get it up the drive.  When I got it paid down so I could get rid of it,  I got my first Valk. It was a beautiful yellow and creme color.  I bought it about 150 miles from home.  A friend rode out there with me to make sure I got home with it.  Had to stop about ten miles from the house and gas up.  When I got to the house, I turned, and twisted it like I did with the Sportster.  That was a BIG mistake.  I went all the way through the carport, hit the wall, and down we went.  Mark immediately started calling me LemonDrop, and it has stuck.

I called a coworker sweet lips one day.  :-* They called me fudgepacker. It was shortened to fudgie shortly after. That was in 1998 and still called that at work.

Holy crap fudgie.  You must have a lot larger cajones than me, or be a lot less homophobic.

That said, I remember my roommate in college somehow garnered the nickname "Gaylord, lord of the gays."  And of course he was straight as an arrow.

Will Stockdale: Hey, Ben. Maybe you'll get to like the Air Force. Zoomin' all over the sky - and shouting, "Roger" and "Wilco" and everything. Maybe it won't be so bad.
Benjamin B. Whitledge: Bad? You know what they call men in the Air Force?
[Will shakes his head "no"]
Benjamin B. Whitledge: Air man! Like somethin' out of a dang funny book! Air man! How you gonna like it when somebody calls you "Air man"?
Will Stockdale: By dog, I just don't think I'll stand for it.

Ghillie

A Ghillie is the caretaker of a scottish estate. When my father had his aneurism a few years ago, I got stuck running his company and taking care of all his bills and crap. I used to joke I was the Lairds ghillie, it kind of stuck.

I am 6'4" ... would not know what else to call myself...my sister in law calls me Gigantor...

Dangit, who let the midgets in here? ;)

Serk was the name of a character I used when I played AD&D 20ish years ago... Serk, a large Barbarian became my favorite character. While playing Dungeons and Dragons it's encouraged to get into character, so we all referred to each other as our character's names.

I had no social life back then, all my friends were also my gaming buddies. They started calling me Serk even when we weren't playing, and it kinda stuck...

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

SMS is the name of my business, Stewart Machine Service, I needed something when I registered here. I'm working on a new handle, been called alot of things :), stay tuned.

Willy

Last name is Willis. A co-worker kept forgetting my first name so he just called me Willy. It stuck 8)

Bonzo

Given to me by my fellow motorcycle enthusiast  in 1975. We all hung out in front of our  garages on Decatur Avenue in The Bronx. It had something to do with erratic behavior, I still do not understand why.
Woops, I'm sorry.

PIBIT #34

PIBIT...short for "Paint it Black in Toronto"....which was my original handle on the VOA Board back in 98...Dragbars got tired of having to type it all in everytime he responded to one of my posts, so one day he just typed "PIBIT", and it stuck. I love BLACK and am a long time Stones fan, so when I got my BLACK 97 and started posting, "Paint it Black in Toronto" just seemed a no brainer...I later had my bike custom painted with that as the paint scheme...black paint dripping over chrome with the Stones logo and Paint it Black scrolled across the tank.

Cajunbone

Born and raised in South Louisiana...guess it comes with the place you live.  Second part is I play trombone so it is a combination of the two.

SlowRoad

I drove a truck for a little while, so of course I needed a cb handle. My trainer kept complaining because I drove so slow :o, so my handle started out as "Slow Ride".  Wasn't very original . A fellow driver started calling me "SlowRoad." The Valk definately is not a "Slow Ride", so that wouldn't have fit anyway. I hate using interstates when I travel whether in a cage or on the Valk, so I always try to take the "slow road" unless I have no choice, so "SlowRoad" fits much better.  :D  The secondary roads allow me to see much more of the real America, not just the billboards along the big roads. :cooldude:

PharmBoy

I grew up on a West Texas cotton farm driving the John Deere green from sunup till sundown and have been a pharmacist with about the same hours most of my adult life.  Hence "PharmBoy"

Blackduck KS

I started out playing flight sims and I waterfowl hunt and like birds do to my wood carving but the name mainley came from the flight sims I needed a callsign and I flew so slow and could turn on a 1/2 acre and people had a hard time shooting me down so thats where the duck came from from ducking shots they would tell me and most of my paint skeems where mostley black and orange due to we where the    RAF 663rd Black Tigers VSF so thats how Blackduck came about 15 yrs ago.

Big IV

They asked me my name. I answered Big IV, which is what I had been posting under for a few months before Inzane.  They questioned if I rode a Valk...they thought I meant 4 cylinder.  I answered quickly, "My Dad's the third and I'm the fourth...and I'm bigger than him." Seemed like a quick explanation at the time. It let us smile for the camera.
That is true.
I'm JMW IV the only part of my name that is original is the IV, so I have always identified with it. When I sign forms I usually throw a over sized IV beside of a quickly scrawled name.
There is a bit more to the story.  When I was first riding motorcycles and on line, I was on another motorcycle board. It was a board dedicated to Honda CB750s, particularly choppers. At the time I was riding a mildly customized CB750, but I was eye-ing restoring and modifying a XS11. To me the XS11 was similar to the CB, just a bigger 4. So I took the handle there: Big IV because my four cylinder was bigger than theres, and because I was bigger than my father---III.
I have two reasons why this is my handle.
I too use it on almost every internet site I go too just to make it easy to remember where I am.

My wife only rode with me once back in 1954 on a new AJS twin.  In spite of me buying two Gold Wings, she never got on again.

I named myself SOLO1 since that handle seemed appropriaite.

Big Rig

Big IV,

I have a buddy who is an IV...HTH IV to be exact...just thought it was funny...he is also from NC...

How are things in Western Pa???

bogator

1972,we started puting cb's in big trucks,my first, talked to another trucker . he asked ,what is your handle? I replied ,BOGATOR,off the top of my head,he said nail it ,thats a good one, been useing it ever since, more people know me by that ,than my name. coast to coast border to border. BOGATOR  aka  JIM.        HAVE A GREAT DAY

NY TAZ

Originally TAZ when the board started, changed to NYTAZ since there are a couple of us....The name started back in the 60's Catholic Elementary School, First Grade, Sister Lillian Marie  she complained to my parents that I would not sit still and I was like a Tasmanian Devil  - so I got the moniker TAZ... still a devil, still can't sit still... :)

Bandit

Well I really don't know where it come from, just kidding.  Bandit is short for 1rm bandit,  and not like the slot machine.  Been riding one handed for 45+ years, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

ThreeAces97

I am hooked on GOLF.   I am an ADDICT.    Had been playing golf without a Hole-In-One for 22+ years and then in 1997, got my first, second and third holes in one,  hence ThreeAces97.     Email addy is w8ingforscratch@.    If it wasn't for golf,  I would have respectable mileage numbers on my 98' Standard.    Tonight I play my 60th 18 hole round of the year.    My wife is much more accepting of playing golf -vs- riding.    She knows I will come home in one piece after a round of golf.

RedValk

i think i might have a red colored Valk...........

When I got back on bikes after a 12 year lay off I bought a 1100 Spirit. I thought the Spirit was a great bike with a lot of heart. Hence ; Spirited. Sold the Spirit and went up to a Valkyrie Tourer, Hence; Spirited-6 .  :cooldude: I might add that I wish I had gone with the Valk. in 1997.  :-[ I have lost many years of riding a great motorcycle. I`ve been in the saddle for about 50+ years and will be sad to see it come to a end. Ride on.

I've been using my handle in various forums/chat areas since 1995.  Since I was in love with the black/yellow bumblebee Valk, it just seemed fitting.

I originally picked the name because it's the title of a song by my fav cajun singer, Jo-El Sonnier.

You could also say that I am drawn to the sweet things in life, like pie, cakes, cookies, so being a bee is just normal for me  ;)

hubcapsc

When I arrived at Clemson in the 70's, my assigned computer userid was MSMRS... blegh... when I started
working for the computer center, I was able to choose my own userid - hubcap - based on some cute
kids in a TeeVee commercial that was running at the time... now a lot of people call me hubcap, and
there's even been a computer at Clemson called hubcap.clemson.edu for 20 or so years now...

Well, kinda because I'm owned by the mutts in the picture and also because I've always been fond of the joke about the little Indian boy asking about how Indian children were named. But I left off the last word of the punchline

G-Man

From the Little Rascals......They used to call the law G-Men, short for Government Men.  I think the Little Rascals interchanged it with the Truant Officer.  Also, first initial is "G".

6jugzz

As a young man, the guy that lived next to us was a retired motorcycle cop. His name was Bones (real skinny) and I would go over and help ( my mother told me stay away) him work on his motorcycles (old Harley's & Indians), he  called the pistons and cyclinders a set of JUGS. He always had Corn Wiskey in a jug too,That  stayed with me -- I started with one a jug Honda, moved up to a two jug Honda, then a two jug Triumph, then a Norton and on ,and on ,and on, now I am on a 6JUGZZ Honda.
Valkyrie...ride the best, love the rest!

Super Santa

Seems I made a couple mistakes and got caught.

I have managed to show up a day EARLY for a couple of rides.  Wait around and no one shows up.  On one of them I called the ride leader to ask where they were and found out the ride was the next day.  The next day I did not show up as I had prior commitments and in my absence they blessed me with 'Early Bird'.

Jabba

Back in 1983, about the time that The Empire Strikes Back was at the theaters... I was a sophomore in high school, playing football.  My coatch pulled me aside and was reaming me out for loafing.  He told me... I needed to get a heart.  Go see the Wizard... and ask for some heart, either that... or go home, and sit in the airconditioning, and have someone feed me grapes... like... "What's that big fat guy in the Star Wars movie?... Jabba ... yeah Jabba the Hut!"  and it STUCK.  All my friend have called me Jabba for the last 26 years, and frankly, I don't even hear it any more.  I seriously don't even notice it anymore.

Yes, I'm a geek... But Jabba the Hutt made his first appearance in Return of the Jedi, not Empire Strikes Back (Yes, he was digitally added in to the special edition of A New Hope, but his first appearance to the public was Return of the Jedi) although the 1983 year was correct, the movie was wrong...

Sorry... I know... Just couldn't help it, kinda OCD about Star Wars, had to point that out...  :uglystupid2:

OK... Fair enough.  I know it was in 1983, and I know it was when I was a Sophomore in High School.  I graduated in 1986.  I HAD to be in the summer of 1983.

But I stand corrected, and defer to your superior GEEKDOM!!  :)

Goo-Goo Magoo

When I was 2 days old, My cusin from Head-of-Inland La. was helping dad build our house in Port Sulphur La.. He came to the to see me and Moonshine still in the hospital. Took one look at me and called me Mr. Magoo and it stuck. Oh yes, me and Moonshine were born on his birthday Jan 29, 1960. True story !!!!!!!
