We stayed in Flagler Beach (about 1/2 hr. north of Daytona); best ocean views and The Best Campground ever, "Gamble Rodgers State Park".

Directly across from our campground was a walkway to the beach.

Gamble Rodgers is known for it's bio-diversity. We has Armidillos in our campsite, flocks of pelicans everywhere. You can view Manatees in the estuaries as well as sharks, turtles, and some really weird fish.

At the Speedway my wife wanted to "shop" the venders and I wanted to check out the motorcycles. I saw a display of Perewitz, Fairless custom bikes.

Here is a Robbie Kneivel custom.

But one bike that caught my eye was a Kawasaki Vaquero by Jesse Rooke.

I had a chance to talk to Jesse and found him to be quiet and unasuming, as well as at alented bike builder.

I spotted this Panhead and thought it was "perfect".

On the 14th, (3/14/13, Pi day we went to "JB's Fish Camp" for lunch and Pam had a cheesburge smothered with a softshelled crab. (YUM!!!)

And since it was "Pi" day we ordered Key Lime pie for dessert.

I was asked to put my "Bobber into the "Willies Tropical Tattoo Bike Show", but I had pull out becacuse we had our dog Joey with us. The odd thing was that dogs are not allowed, however the money raised from the show goes to the local SPCA.

It was a memorable trip, but not without a few problems. My Bobber Hydrlocked and is going to need some expensive repair. (Yes it has a Pingel petcock)

Our trailer needed a battery on the way down and my trucks motor is also in need of serious work. Oh well, life goes on!

I will never forget our 25th Anniverary (unless Alzheimers sets in quickly).

ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY!

Okay, so ya had a Pingle.    Was the bike on a trailer?   Did you have the Pingel shut off?

If you answered YES to the 2 above questions, you have a bad Pingel, if you  answered NO to the one on trailer you definetly have a bad Pingel.

NO valve likes to be left on when you are hauling the Valk, it will fill up a cyclinder or 2 everytime..............

Sorry to hear ya blew the gears out....   Dat is expensive............

No RJ, it was not on a trailer and the petcock was in the "off" position.
I was told this petcock flowed more than a normal Pingel petcock and that I should turn the petcock off well before shutting the bike off. I guess I may have not waited long enough for the gas to be used within the float bowls. Yeah, repairs suck, but $hit happens.

Great pics George. It seems like I have seen that panhead somewhere. Could that be?
