I haven't been active much in the last four years.  (my son will soon turn four, you do the math)

And most of the local PDX folks I used to know have moved to different location or different bikes.

(how ya doing F6 rider and KirkB)

So my intersate drove home with a new owner a few weeks ago and I hope he gets as much enjoyment from her as I did for that 60,000 miles I had.

I put most of the $ in the bank, but couldn't resist spending some of the $ on this cute little thing

someday soon the Rune will sell (more $ in the boy's college fund) and I'll have the drz for short rides, and the transalp for longer rides.

So thanks for all the help on the tech stuff, and great times and rides.

I'll sure miss her :'( :'(

The buyer talked me down a little on the price so he got only the bike, not all the stuff I had so I'll put some stuff (extra interstate tank, silver and gold tank emblems, exhaust tips, chrome risers, studded seat, etc on ebay for a few $ for that fcr carb I need for the drz :coolsmiley:)

I remember that picture of the bike in the snow from when you posted it first.  I thought that was kinda interesting.

As they say, "Its all good."  I have been drifting in other diretions also, although I havent sold either of the Valks yet.  Have been thinking about a dual sport or something similar to play with.

Dragon Rider,
I am taking real good care of her. I fixed the loose wire on the volt meter and I just about have her all polished up. This bike is awesome. I have some cash if you still have those chrome exhaust tips.
I took the bike on a 160 mile run the thing ran great, what a nice ride.

Glad you are enjoying her, I thought you might be taking her on that poker run you had the next day.  Sure, give me call or email and we'll get you set up with the tips, and the extra chrome sides if you also want those.
how about $40 for the tips, and $50 for the sides, or $80 if you want both.

(looks like they book at $210 and $222 each set at HDL)

I am glad I didn't take it on that run. It was a lot of twisty roads that were wet and I wasn't confident with my riding skills on the bigger bike. The Goldwing (GL1000) feels like a small bike now. I will give you a call to see when a good time would be to stop by.

Thanks

If you want to just sell some of what ya got, quote a price, I am looking for spares and bling.

I might be interested in that IS Tank if the price is right. ;)
