I won't call any names but that was the best wheelie I have ever seen on a Valkyrie.   :cooldude:  Just wish I had been down there while it was in the air and got a picture of the drain plug.   ;D

Grumpy

Was good,  I just was too slow to get a picture of it.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Acctually, from how hard he got onto it and how high it went and how fast he got out of it and how hard it slammed back down.....looked like the highest wheelie without going over I have ever seen. Was at least at a 45 degree angle! He's my new hero !
Woohoooo!

I "heard" his name rhymes with "shirt" and his wife's name rhymes with "berry" ..that's all I know...
I still miss her.

Tundra

Yes it was high, I thought he had reached the point of no return. Well done :cooldude:

Hmmm, anybody know what a new set of steering bearings cost these days?  I remember the first wheelie I did when I was a kid in my early teens(yes, I can remember that far back). My buddies told me my eyes were the size of saucers when I got off the bike, it was totally unexpected and quite frankly it scared the bejabbers out of me. It was the first of many....but no more. I haven't even done a burnout since.....I ain't tellin'!!! But involved a bunch of HD riders one Bike Week, only one of a bunch of about a dozen could do a burnout for some reason. I got to laughing at the stoplight and one of the riders took issue with me. Told me unless I could do any better to shut the "F" up. So, I decided to not shut up....but show him up. While it was spinning, I swung the rear end around for him to get a closer look....and a direct blast of smoke.   The light changed and let up on the throttle and dropped the clutch. I could hear the riders hootin' and hollerin' as I pulled away. I've had the Valk for ten years, so it was during the last ten years....but no more. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.  ;)

I definitely didn't expect it to come that far off of the ground but it ras Rather Exciting. It was on an uphill grade and that probably had something to do with how high it came up.Hey John,I know it's not real good on those Bearings or Fork Seals either one.
.Ride safe,Bert.
