Sorry for the false advertising, but where Children and cancer are concerned, all is fair (Besides it was Oss's idea).  The Saturday after the GOTF, April 20th, I will be shaving my head to raise money to fund children's cancer research.  Several members have already generously donated, and I very grateful.  Please take the time to view the video above and if you can, contribute what ever you are able at http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/599469/2013.  So far I have raised $1380 of my $2000 goal, thanks to everyone who donated.

I'm really looking forward to my first attendance at GOTF, and my 7th year of raising money for a very worthwhile cause.

Thanks for your time.

It just tears me up to see a sick kid. Really challenges faith.

I have supported Joe in his devotion to this cause since I first met him. This is truly a cause worth helping. I even participated as a shavee for a cpl years, and will probably do so in the future. I can tell you from experience, these folks have their hearts in the right place. Help them out if ya can.

Been hanging out at MD Anderson lots lately, and I can tell you it is heart wrenching.  What really gets to you is the incredible bravery of these kids.  Last time I was there saw one in the cafateria with about 6 bags hanging, and damm if that kid wasnt having a good time, laughing and grinning.  Even the really sick ones are putting up a brave front.  Kinda makes you disgusted when the adults whine about how bad they have it.

Yeah, I've complained about a few things over the years, I try not to.  Some people who shall remain anonymous, like to complain constantly about things that are totally insignificant.  When this happens I try to tell her how lucky she is, and what would you do if something as devastating as what these kids go through happened to her.  Doesn't work.

I thank the Lord for the blessings He has bestowed on me and my family, and I hope He will ease the pain and suffering of these innocents.
