All the grey area was done by the V8 emblem on my Dakota front fender.

The other cuts and bruises were off of the screen door.

AGATI  Hey Buddy you need to slow down, and start being more careful.  Us oldsters dont heal as good or fast as we used to.  Praise the lord you didnt break anything.   Of course you can use the scar to tell some war stories, like "Well I got that the third time I was killed in Korea." or some such.  Kidding aside, I feel for you my friend, heal fast.

Seriously,   just be thankful you didn't break a hip or something major.  Time will heal in 1-2 months more than likely.  I still say grab bars and a ramp if the steps bother you in time is the best way to go.

Dang my friend, heal fast. You probably ought to stay out of the wind until that closes up. You don't want bugs landing in it.  I've noticed my skin getting thinner, cutting and burning easier and takin' longer to heal in the last year or two. You just gotta be more careful with it.

You can assume that, yes, 32 years CHP & 30 years riding a motor of theirs.  Started on Harley's, went to Cog-A-sock-i's, after I retired they went to the 4 cyl BMW for Patrol duty, the Boxer engines were parade leaders, escorts for dignitaries and etc.

I've got a couple of pain pills and it doesn't hurt all that much unless I smack it on a door frame or something along that nature.
