Rear seat bag?

I've been thinking about a small(ish)  rear seat bag for the Valk. I'm thinking about a small Motofizz but they are pricey. What do you all use for trips?

I use a Wolfman duffle bag.  Kinda pricey but well designed.  Just Google Wolfman Luggage.

I'm always always looking for bargains.  OK, I'm cheap.  This bag is the one I use on my passenger seat, and it is nice.

I have a multiple sizes of leather B4 design bags (with no paint scratching metal studs/hardware).  Water resistant, not waterproof.  And carry a heavy gauge leaf bag to bag it in if it will rain.  I always pack my hardbags and trunk with bike stuff, raingear, tools, half cover, yada, but pack my clothes/toiletries in a B4 duffel, so when I arrive, that easily comes off the bike seat into the room without having to rummage around in various hardbags for stuff.

There are a bunch of decent bike luggage for sale in all sizes, but all are pricy (and often not waterproof).  There are also some decent completely waterproof bags (not luggage) of all sizes available.  Not as convenient to pack/unpack as luggage, but cost effective for what you get.

I have been reviewing this a ton lately since wanted one.  I did buy the 'classic accessories' motoextreme one on www.walmart.com for 35 bucks free ship to store will be picking up later this week once in.  However, this is for the scooter and IMO, is too small for the larger rear seat of the Valkryie.  If I had the need,  I would be buying one of these bigger, yet pretty cheap, ones listed below very good quality:

nelson rigg gws450 mini seat pack for 46 bucks or the nelson rigg gwr950 mini rack pack for the rear luggage rack above trunk for an I/S also for 46 bucks.

I really like for 46 bucks the nelson rigg much bigger gws450 thinking it would fit very nicely on the rear seat and be much more useable space inside as well.  Can't beat the price but I think you have to spend like 89 bucks or so to get free shipping so just buy something else as well to get free shipping or get 2 gws450 and go in with someone else owning a cycle to get a very good deal.

No affiliation with motoryclegear.com but have bought 2 jackets in past year from them and very fast shipping and excellent quality products.  Hey, for 46 bucks and under if you can spend 89 bucks (or was it 99???)  or so to get free shipping this is the best deal on the market that I have found in the past 3 months of trying to find cheap rear seat bags. 

I also like the smaller SPRT-20 rear seat bag thinking for 37 bucks would be better quality than the classic accessories brand one at walmart for 35 bucks about the same size but didn't want to pay extra for shipping since have nothing else I need to get  89/99 bucks thru their website. 

I would highly recommend one of my suggestions for the price cannot be beat and I believe s/b decent quality as well.

I have a set of Nelson-Rigg CL-950 saddlebags on my KLR, also well made luggage at a great price. I like the GWR-950 rack bag, BUT, I wonder if it would work as a rear seat bag?  I have a Hooker, no jokes please...... under my rear seat that has four D rings on it to secure bags to the seat.   Rear seat on the Valkyrie might be too narrow.

The gws450 will fit no problems since custom fit for the ultra classic and Valkyrie rear seat being about 12" wide.  The gwr950 being 16" wide will overhang on the sides for same price and may work just sticking out over the edge of the seat about 2-3" on each side is all.  Both are the same price for 46 bucks get one of each and then avoid the shipping charges?    I think the gws450 will fit and look better though vs. the wider gwr950 at www.motoryclegear.com is more made to fit the trunk rack on an I/S.

Roller luggage from wal mart. Best $40 I've spent. I got a normal looking roller and a duffle roller. You can pile on all your stuff and roll it into your room. Its never been wet inside. I cant see spending $250 for 'mc luggage'.

  Cheap duffel from Walmart and free nylon bag that i busted zipper on this trip to Yosemite.  For longer trips, carry on suitcase from Costco goes on the luggage rack.  

 No fashion mogul here.

  Like Jess I use hard bags for maintenance and repair items, tire plug kit, compressor, tools, extra gallon of gas, cleaning materials and usually computer in left bag.  Clothes in duffel for easy off to lodging.

I use a dry bag I picked up at walmart for 12 bucks. Stuff my duffel bag in it and use bungies to tie it down.
