I just ran across this article. It's another scary part of the government chipping away at the rights of the citizens.

"According to a 2009 IRS employee handbook, though, the tax agency said the Fourth Amendment does not protect emails because Internet users don't "have a reasonable expectation of privacy in such communications."

They are also watching social network sites and blogs.  So is DHS.  But you knew that right?  Anything computer (or device) related, consider it insecure and don't put up anything you wouldn't if all the creepy gov't agencies had a man watching over your shoulder.  Because they ARE.

Isn't it amazing how things change, depending on who is in power.

The Dems scorched Bush for the Patriot Act, saying it invaded privacy.

Obama has not only kept ALL of what Bush did, he has GREATLY EXPANDED the invasion of privacy, with hardly a peep from the left!

It seems like I remember the Supreme Court up holding the 4th amendment after the IRS letter, but, I don't think the IRS pays much attention to anyone.
The IRS is hiring, after all, they are now in charge of enforcing obamacare.
