Dragons to The Cave! 2013

Howdy Folks!
It's time for Dragons to The Cave 2013!
This year we are scheduling it for the third weekend of May. (17-19 May)

Armed Forces Day is the third Saturday in May each year and I think that is a good time for our meeting too.  The weather here in Oklahoma is nice by then and it will give us a chance to thank our service members and recognize their service to our country.
Here's what we have planned so far:
*Friday, 17 May:
Arrival Day (I'll be set up in the small camping area just across from the office to be available to meet and greet all arrivals.)

*Saturday, 18 May: (Armed Forces Day)
Local area rides and routes all ending at some nice place for Lunch.
Local rides back to Robbers Cave for fellowship and an evening meal to include a thank you service for our veterans.

*Sunday, 19 May:
Departure Day

I'll post more information about signing up in the next few days.  This is not as organized as some of the other rides and meetings, just a good time with good food, good friends and some good riding.

Well, it looks like there are a lot of things going on in the month of May that are conflicting with our annual trip to Robbers Cave.  Not to worry! Anyone wanting to do the trip is very welcome.  It is still a "GO". Here is the link for discussions on the Oklahoma Valkyrie Board:

As always there is no registration fee for the gathering, just come on down and have a good time!
With the numbers down this year we will probably not cater the event as in some years past, but just have a nice dinner Saturday Night in Wilburton.  Or we could cook out in the park if there is enough interest in that.
As you can probably tell, I don't tend to "over-plan" things. (Some folks say I don't plan at all.)
