I did not see one ugly bike.
Only saw some that are different from the norm.
And maybe one or two I would not want.
take personal responsibility and keep your word

The trouble with the Rune is, they could have built an 1800 Valkyrie.  I hope they fired somebody when it fizzled.  Hoser  :(
I don't want a pickle, just wanna ride my motor sickle

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

FLAVALK

Well, that's one persons opinion. Obviously he didn't ask anyone else  :-\

Whoever this guy is don't know diddly.  I'm sure most of us don't mind the looks of the rocket III, or Honda Rune, and even the classic styling of the honda v45 magna which I had back in the late 80's and early/mid 90's and was a great looking bike, comfy, and somewhat fast/powerful.

I don't understand the V45 thing? But, I really liked my V65. As for the ugly tumour he refers to on the Rocket, its called the "bear claw". The air filters under there. I agree with your analogy, but most of the bikes are older, maybe he is just a young squirt that never rode those things like we did? Surprised he didn't name the ol 750 Honda, then I woulda known he never rode years ago. Everyone had a 750....

article was obviously written by a v-twininite.  i love the Rune, i think it is the most sexiest designed motor cycle ever built, and when my wife isn't looking, and i get some large chunk of cash i can just "dump" somewhere, i'd be buying one!!

by the way, what's so ugly about the Triumph Rocket 3?

once again, the article was written from someone that only sees a specific brand as a "real" motor cycle.

+1 ricoman.  There is no such thing as an ugly motorcycle.  Some are just prettier than others and
some are just not my style.  Motorcycles and art are in the eye on the beholder.

Didn't know what a plonker was so I looked it up

Plonker: dope, idiot, moron, wally, pillock, dunderhead, dimwit

Now that I've got that straight, what is a pillock and a wally?  :(

Pillock is a stupid annoying person.

Wally used to be a name yelled at concerts (mainly metal) as if trying to locate a friend. Why? I have no idea.

EDIT - not my words

An insult that became popular in the 80's, meaning an idiot. Scholars of urban slang have long believed this word originated at Woodstock (15-17th Aug'69), when some hippy lost his dog called Wally. He wandered around the site shouting Wally, and before long the crowd started shouting it. After that, wally became a popular chant at music festivals. However, on a recording of a Jimi Hendrix concert on 9th Jan 1969 in Sweden (7 months before Woodstock), someone in the audience shouts wally while Jimi is dedicating a song, prompting him to say "yeah, this song is for wally too". So, while the word probably did originate at a festival, if has to be another one, not Woodstock.

The ugliest bike I've ever seen is the Victory Vision, but like someone said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I like it but then I ride a smaller version - Honda ST1300

Vision rides well. It's the only V-twin I would consider.

The Rune was a beautiful bike and I've seen it on a number of "top motorcycle designs of all time" lists

And yes, they should have made a new VTX 1800 into a bagger

I respectfully submit the Victory Vision as evidence to the contrary...

I agree but to ride one is a pretty nice experience. They handle and ride pretty good.

Some I agree with, some not. Gotta add the harley Springer and V-Rod.
Victory Vision should be on EVERYBODY'S list. Not too wild about the
Rune, either. Oh, what it coulda been!!!!

Looked at the pictures.  Didn't bother reading much of the article.

The author is obviously an ass overwhelmed by a sense of his own importance.

Ugliness, much as beauty, appears to be in the eye of the beholder.

I didn't see one ugly bike there.  The guy must be a Harley rider.
