I'll add my   to this. As events are unfolding it is difficult enough to sift through the chatter for real information. We all have our own agendas that we love to advance even as we deny we are the ones with an agenda. There is plenty of time for that another time.

I'm amazed, and thankful that Boston has their act together. The first responders were very quick to get to the injured, evaluate and do triage and the hospitals were actually prepared from doing many prior drills exactly for this type of scenario.

While the situation is of course horrific, I salute the caregivers and pray for those injured and affected by the bombs.

Yep, that's exactly correct, Ricoman. Also having the first aid tents on site helped a lot. But in talking to a doctor who cared for many of the 20 injured at one of the hospitals, he stated they were prepared to handle up to 5 more. So the hospitals were also prepared, even if the marathon presence had something to do with it.

Surreal. I don't (at this point) know any of the injured or dead, and count myself blessed to hear from an old Army buddy that I haven't seen in over 40 years calling from Texas to see if we were OK. They are not sure if the U Mass fire was part of this or not, but I'm thankful they found two other devices before they exploded, and have disabled them and will analyze them for clues. They also have a person-of-interest in one of the hospitals, but no telling if this will pan out. Prayers for the injured, both physically and psychologically. A lot of people run the Marathon and raise money for various charitable causes. Very sad and angry, and embarrassed that I had gotten irritated because I had to go several miles out of my way to get across the Marathon route. Thanks for listening.

FLAME SUIT ON! I don't like to point fingers but, makes one wonder that with all the crap going on with the Korean Dictator if there is any relevance, or not?
