We rode down to see Reb in Middle Tennessee today...

Four Valkyrie's hooked up this cold morning ( 32 degree's ) to ride down and see Preston ( Reb ) and his teams baja buggy in Cookeville, Tennessee. It was a beautiful day in The Great State Of Tennessee. Gordon ( Lucky 13 ) Paul ( Wimp ) Greg ( Smooth Rider ) and Smokin'joe . I did'nt get many pictures as my batteries was just about dead in my camera. We got in close to 275 miles today and the sky was nothing but blue and warmed up to near 60 in the afternoon.





Hey Reb when we got back to the bike's I said " Damn.... Reb said he was going to hook us up with a shirt   






We did'nt get to watch any of the competition but sure saw just about every team working on their buggy's. My ridin' bud Greg is always willing to help anyone out.





The Courthouse in downtown Cookeville, Tennessee.



Saw this truck on the Ag Campus at Middle Tennessee State University and it made me think this would be the perfect truck for Eric ( Little Buddy ) 



Good luck tomorrow Reb with the competition we saw some nice one's as we was leaving however I think the time you took to polish the aluminum rear end on Y'all's will give you the needed edge 



We cut through the woods on the way home and played on The Anaconda ( Hwy. 85 ) ... This road is a piece of work and shames The Dragon with its curves.

Good seeing you again my friend     If you can score the shirts for freebie that will be cool ... If you have to buy them then don't worry about it. Good luck on the competition  today . As stated above we saw some cool lookin' buggy designs as we was leaving yesterday but I think y'all have a good chance .

5-9-13 BRP ride you were talking about...

I took off my front tire yesterday, will install the new one today... my back tire
is slap worn out too, so I'm going to order one of them today... backs go quick,
it seemed better than the front before I went on a several hundred mile
ride last week, now it is worse than the front...

All of us ( well not Wimp he hasn't worked in years ) are going to take Thursday 5-9-13 off and run the super slab up to Waynesboro, Va for the first night. We'll hit The Blue Ridge Parkway at mile marker # 1 on Friday morning 5-10-13. All my co-workers ride Harley's with one who rides a Indian <<< He owns three Indians . I'm guessin' we'll make West Jefferson , NC on Friday evening.... This is a 100 % weather pending ride as we don't want to take vacation time and ride in the rain all weekend.... Hope you can join us Mike as of now it going to be ( 4 ) Harley's ( 1 ) Indian and ( 3 ) Valkyrie's.... We'll be staying at Nation's Inn in West Jefferson however we are not making any reservations and gonna just let the ride go as it will.

I'm not sure Tom I will find out asap.... It did'nt burn to the ground however on end ( office end ) was destoryed... The Super 8 is across the street and I just guessin' that would be the next most affortable one.I'll find that out as well
