Now, i'm not in a union (that's a whole other story) but from what i've heard unions would be exempt from this tax.  that explains why every union i know of always votes Democrat.

Yeah during the election campaign the wife of a union friend of mine called me every four lettered name you can think of because Obama was gonna save us and she knew that I usually lean in the conservative direction.  One of her missives to me was that over 1 million Union workers are supporting him and they can't be wrong.  It's been over one hundred days now and I still haven't received my bailout check.  I wonder if they lost my address?  :uglystupid2:

Don't worry, KAZ, it's "IN THE MAIL".  Another great govt run program that loses millions a year, just like Amtrak, just like Medicaid, Medicare, etc.
Yet, we are going to turn car making and our health care system over to these losers?????
Why do I see a disaster coming?

I've never understood the mentality of those who don't seem to understand that the PEOPLE are the cash cow for all government spending.

The money DOES NOT magically appear out of thin air.   :tickedoff:

We should ask Democrats to empty their personal savings to help fund PresBo's plans.

Step back and listen to the howls of protest.  :2funny:

PresBo is gung ho for windmills.

The UK is finding out that the darn things are costly, inefficent and the local population get pissed off by the noise they make. When the wind isn't sufficent fossil fuel powered generators kick in to supplement the wind turbines - THAT'S SMART  :2funny:

Britman,

Money is not the problem in any of these half-baked ideas.  They'll just print more!  I fear most of these plans are based on the extreme of idealistic circumstances, cost be cursed.

I'd like to know what stock portfolio's these congressional energy experts own, cuz you KNOW they are setting themselves up for a windfall profit of their own doing.
