Well after almost 2 years down I finally have the new motor in my IS, coming down to the last few items before attempting to fire her up. Now the uncertaintee hits did I do everything right? is everything torqued down right will it fire up or catch fire? Anticipation is killing me but I have a 12 hr shift between now and the moment of truth. Wish me luck guys if this doesnt work you may see a glut of hondaline parts coming to the classified section. :uglystupid2: :D :2funny: :o If it doesnt catch fire that is.

I feel your anxiety!  If it doesn't start you'll be wondering if you screwed up, where you screwed up and how to fix it.

GOOD LUCK !!

Bigun, we all got faith in ya buddy.

When you go to fire her, FULL choke, hand OFF the throttle even after it starts.   Let is idle for a few seconds and then start working the choke off.   Then you can work the throttle if you think ya need to.

Keep us posted little buddy.

? where you drinking during the assemble if not everything will be fine. Just remember Slow deep breaths and all will be good you do not want to pass out while firing the bike.

Save the drinking for AFTER the inaugural ride.  No sense taking any chances of a crash and burn.
