national news? I'm not talking about the latest back to back tragedies but all the goofy, silly stuff like Hollywood celebs that makes news. I guess only the people in this hero's hometown heard.

It is quite possible you did hear about this, years ago, and just forgot about it.  I know I have heard and seen this quite a few times over the last few years.   But a reminder now and then doesn't hurt to keep his memory alive....

Maybe I did...my memory is not what it used to be. :'(  But if it got the round the clock coverage like Whitney, Michael, Amy,  Lindsay Lohan,  Paris Hilton, and others I would have had to! It's a shame that true heroes that give their life for this country receive very little recognition.

Oh I agree, it didn't get "round the clock coverage" like those fake "celebrities".... but it's nice to see this still making the rounds to keep the memory alive.

I also agree the memory ain't what it used to be.... hell getting older.

Yeah it's hell getting older....but  don't like the alternative either! :2funny:
