Americade Lake Geroge NY / Laconia NH

I plan on riding to Americade and then to Laconia for bike week.
Anyone made this run, best route.

Hehehe, you can't get there from there. There are several good roads for that trip, which ever you decide including a ferry if you're so inclined I'm not near a local map right now so I can't tell you the exact routes from memory.

The wife and I go almost every year, this year being no exception. It all depends on where you are coming from.

 are  you asking for directions from Lake George to Laconia  or how best to get to Lake George?

From Lake George to Laconia, I think rte 4 is the best no highway route.  I haven't been up there in years, so can't say what condition the road is in.

Just about any back road route is gonna be good.

Thanks for the information. I did the map quest thing and it looks like rt 4 is most direct; just wasn't sure of the road.

G-man, when are you thinking of heading up. They open on the 1st, which is a Saturday. The wife and I are headed in on Friday and leaving Sunday. Need a day at the vendors. My brother is headed up on Friday as well for the weekend.

I'm riding from Oakdale, NY to my daughters in Cairo on June 4th then on the 5th to Lake George.
Lake George to Laconia the 9th and back to Long Island the 13th. There is room for 1 more in Laconia if anyone is interested. Lakeside Get -A-Way Weirs Beach.
