Valkyries transcend age limitations,....just keep an open mind. Not all young guys need sport bikes, and it is the type of bike that inspires wants for more.

Wondering what the Average age of a valkyrie driver was ?!?

There's a number of us in the 70's and beyond that still ride. For me, my daughters told me it's about time I start acting my age. I told them I tried it one afternoon and it didn't work. I started by turning on my turn signal before I even left the driveway, and left it on the entire time I was driving. Next, while driving I moved at 15mph slower than the posted speed limit. And while doing all these exciting activities, I wore my shorts up under my armpits, accented by wing-tip shoes with black support stockings up to my knees. All the while, I had my undersized polo shirt tucked into my underwear. The result, I felt depressed by the end of the day so went for a ride on the Valk....wearing Levis, boots, and a T-shirt. Guess aging is also a mental state of mind as well as physical.

My guess is mid 50's but have seen a few in their late 20's and I definitely applaud all of you age 70 and over who still ride.  I don't think when AND IF I make it to age 70+ I'll be riding but you never know.

Well I'm only 32 hope to still be riding in my 70's or even just alive for that matter......

Will be 67 in July. Rode to Hotglues BBQ 764 mile one day and felt good. I was happy that I still had it in me . Now I want to do more long trips, only have 98000 miles on the bike.

I'm 29, will be 81 on my next birthday in Sept.

Still ride MGM, converted Tourer to a Trike, and my Chevy powered 3 wheeler made in Southern Indian and was called a Cobra.

Ford sued his ass for the use of Cobra, he lost and the business has now turned 3 owners,   currently called Renegade.   

Mine was a kit ya had to put together and supply your own running gear.    Had I of know then in 87 what I know today, it would of had a Powerglide and a 9" Ford rear end.         It still runs the 1/4 in the 13's.    With the slip-o-mater 400 and a 57 Pontiac (forgot the name, it was a station wagon) rear end.     Seems to be pretty solid as it has taken 200,000+ miles of torture and still a ticking.

Youngest daughter getting back from a 300 mile ride around the state.    She said she went over to Council Bluffs and run into her boss.  They had lunch and she came back home.      Her boss owns Story Construction.    She is a Construction Engineer, currently the Project Manager on the school being built in Ames.    It will have it's open house in 2 weeks, ready for the 2013-2014 year.

 Some would say I have the mental capacity of a 15 year old.
Most days my body feels like I'm 95 years old.
When I'm riding my bike I feel like I'm 21 years old.

Trying hard to finish my 79th year. Just today bought a 98 KLR. Hopeing It'll help loosin' up my left knee joint a bit. Gonna keep a close eye on it and not tlet it go the other way! It's half the weight of the I/S. I'm afraid to just keep sittin'! KLR runs fine for $1400 and goes for trwo new tires tomorrow(and rear brake pads....).

66 yrs young. Been riding 44yrs. My 98 black tourer is my retirement gift to me.Read the post on different ways to mount the fat girl. It helps to be 6-4 but the Lord has blessed me with good health(though I did plenty of things back in the day that could have destroyed it). I just sling my leg over both back rest, hit the starter, and hit the road. Pray I,ll be doing this for many years. Had mine for 5 months and still get that ear to ear smile every time I twist the gas.

12.25 years old thanks to leap year.    Actually 49 been riding Valkyries since 2001.

Looks like we're concentrated around the 50 - 60 year old range.  It's still a pretty small sampling, but my guess is that it's representative of the VRCC as a whole.

It is a family who owns a ton of land in Louisiana, and they manufacture Duck Calls.

Willie the son is the CEO of this Million $$$$$$$$$$ business.
Willie has 2 brothers that are in it, one is crazier than a bucket of rocks, he is Jase, and his younger brother just goes along for the ride.

Willie's Uncle is also quite a guy.  He has a big container of Ice Tea he carries around so as to have an ice tea drink when ever he feels like it.

They always, family and 2 employees always eat with them, there are about without counting probably 15 people involved.    The give me my laugh for the week, until the next segment comes on.   Miss Kay is the mother, Si is the ice tea boy, they are a great bunch.

They had a beaver dam in one segment, they tried to pick it apart, the beavers would rebuild it overnight, until Uncle Si decided to blow the damn apart.    He had enough explosives in it to blow a small town apart.

They used to have a duck blind in the lake area.  It needed rebuilt, and Miss Kay wanted this little travel trailer taken away, so the boys built a rack and then heisted the trailer in the air and it became their new duck blind.

Supposedly they live in and around Monroe, LA.

We must have caught the same bug. Hit 67 on May 1st (MAYDAY, MAYDAY)  Which I believe officially makes me 22 X 3 plus 1.
