According to the article...the one found there "escaped". LOL! Must be fast!

Also, the shells are hard/sharp enough to blow a tire if you hit one.

Crud. Skunks. Armadillos. Deer. Pigs. Alligators. And now snails I gotta worry about...

I wonder if they go POP when you hit them with a hammer.

Just sayin'......

Now, why would you go and suggest that?   Next thing you know, we'll all have to register our salt.   No more salt packs you can hide in you pocket.   I mean really...  ;)

I saw Romeo hit a squirrel and it flew about 20 feet straight up when it came off the rear tire. It didn't seem to phase the bike...

I cant believe 316 people (including me) wanted to learn about giant snails on a motorcycle site (or at least it was).

I wonder how tough the shells really are? I mean, 1/2" ball bearings and a slingshot tough?

That reminds of that turtle that darted out in front of me when we were riding in Wisconsin some time back.

Darted out in front of you?   Wow.    ;)

In the posted story, the snail got away also.   Hmm, apparently Mother Nature has been busy making sleeper "speed" mods and we're just finding out.

I'd love to hit it with the drivers on an 18 wheeler.

I'll bet after 9 tires hit it it would be squished.

Any takers?

Or pop it through a highway snow blower.
