Prince Harry the soldier visits Arlington Cemetery

Speaking of JFK,  I am now watching the movie JFK, made in 1991 starring Kevin Costner,  the 2nd time thru today on the JFK conspiracy.   Some say Oswald never fired the shot or even fired period and the U.S. govt. (black ops, etc.) and maybe the Cubans/Russians were involved. 

At the end of the movie, if I recall, it says the JFK files during that timeframe are locked up to not be seen again until year 2029 if not mistaken, wonder why?

I don't recollect that time since was not born yet, but what do you all in your late 50's and beyond think what really happened?  If true, the movie JFK brings up a lot of questionable detective work and possible cover ups.

Makes you wonder what the 60's and 70's, even beyond that, would have been like with JFK fulfilling his term as President since from what the movie stated,  JFK was totally for world peace and against wars/conflicts and wanted to cut the budget for military defense drastically.   Who knows, maybe no Vietnam war and other involvement in conflicts during the 1960's?

as i recall he escalated the Vietnam war.and sent actual combat troops in.
Oh Yeah, he also authorized and paid for the assassination of the sitting president of Vietnam.

Arlington National Cemetery will overwhelm you in the sheer numbers of heroes resting there.  I spent 5 hours just walking through the sections last year and it was so powerful, emotionally.  I highly recommend anyone visiting the area to spend time there honoring our fallen brothers and sisters.

Again another Vet agrees with alph 100%.  I'll say it our P O T U S at this time is a real piece of work and I M O a P O S. Young Prince Harry on the other hand-and a Royal-became a Helicopter pilot and did 2 Tours in the sandbox. After watching the video I can not help but like this young Prince from England. More CLASS more everything than the obuminater will EVER be. And yup had my coffee already. RIDE SAFE.

A few years ago we visited Arlington Cemetery, I've stood were Prince Harry stood, I've watched the "Changing of the Guards", I've walked among the tombstones reading the names trying to make some connection to anyone of 'em, and as I type this just the thought of that memory brings a tear to my eye.  Sadly, I never joined the military, something I regret, and will regret for the rest of my life.

For those of you that have served in the military; thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, and unless I don't make it clear, thank you. 

Remember, as Memorial Day draws nearer, a man that has never served his country cannot have a connection to those that have given their life for their country.  Obummer must understand this, but to not even make an attempt to amend a wrong, to not even acknowledge the importance of what those men and women gave, is unexplainable to me.  To "bow" to a foreign enemy that fostered 19 terrorists responsible for the attacks of 9/11 is beyond my understanding.

GOD bless you Prince Harry.  And GOD bless those that have given their lives so that I may have the freedom to type what I wish.

On Memorial Day, I will share a story with all of you.  Something that will explain the love that I have for my country, which will also explain the importance of our military, something that ties a lot of "this" all together.

JFK pissed off a lot of Cubans with the way Bay of Pigs was handled.  RFK pissed off the mob with his relentless pursuit of them.  The race is not always to the swift nor the fight to the strong, but that's the way to bet.
