Taking a break before going our separate ways after riding today the train came buy at the right time. Five Norfolk Southern engines diggin will rattle the fillings. Of course the ride was after taking the mothers out for lunch.



My wife's uncle traded his little Sportster for a 2013 Breakout. Nice ride.


My buddy Tim still riding the Fatboy police edition.


And the black 99 standard still holds it own.

Try staying overnight say in either Lynxville or Ferryville WI north of Prairie du Chien heading to LaCrosse right along the Mississippi River great river road where the train tracks are right across the street very close to the mom and pop motels.  The bed sometimes shakes and the trains come thru at least 2-3 times every night it seemed like if not more often waking you up blowing their horns coming thru town going 45-50 mph it seemed like they were coming right into the motel room sort of scary.

I used to live about 500 yards from the southern railway mainline through Blacksburg sc.

Took me a month before I could sleep after moving to that location.

Been there and you is right!  Not the place to try and get some beauty sleep thats for sure!

 I live about a 1/2 a mile (in a straight line) from a rail yard in New Haven IN. Can hear trains all night long coupling up and blowing their horns leaving and coming into the yard. Been there 48 years. Just back ground noise to me now. Only really hear it with the windows open at night. My fiance Twila's  Aunt and Uncle are coming up front TN in June to stay a week. They live in a nice quite (haller) in TN. So I am going to have to warn them about the trains.......
