I've got these two little spots of corrosion to take care of. Seems that the ones particularly around the cables are pretty common ones as I have the same on the 'Wing. Was wondering if any of you had any tips on treating these. I've thought about using a rust killer product then coating them over with clear nail polish. The other spot is the bracket that holds the brake lines on either side of the front fender.

As always, your advice and suggestions are appreciated.

When I got my bike all the little chrome bits like that line-holder in your
picture were rusty, way worse than yours. I replaced them $$$ ...

Later I learned about some rust killer products, and I dropped my parts
into some  oxiliac acid (sold at Ace as "wood bleach") and was amazed.
Mine were so bad the chrome was blistered... it didn't fix that but
all the rust was gone.
