BobB

Building a bobber from a Tourer?  He must have had a lot of parts left over.  I like the short exhaust, it solves the rear wheel removal problem.  Any bets on whether he will get an opening bid at $8500?

Momz

Maybe I should list my 97 Bobber when my motors is repaired.
I start the bidding at 8K (in US Dollars though).

ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY!

97 Valk bobber, 98 Valk Rat Rod, 2K SuperValk, plus several other classic bikes

Actually it is pretty neat looking and looks to be well done.
Notice he used a passenger seat for the rider and it's darkside too.
Hope he gets close to his 8500 number, that would put Momz's in the 6000+ range for sure.
only 3000? nah, it's worth more and will bring more

98 Tourer, black and chrome, added 8/11/10
98 Std, yellow/cream, totaled 8/3/10

I'm seeing a good bit of work went into it. But then I try to be positive.
Not for me, but I do appreciate what he did, same for Momz"s bobber.

Psychotic Bovine

I like Valk bobbers.  The seat and side covers aren't to my liking, though.
I would like to make a Valk bobber with a P51 Mustang or Steampunk-esque theme.

P-51 sounds cool.
Get a side car and do a P-38 (ar,ar,ar)
Imagine if it was a hard tail bobber, that'd rattle your bones for sure.

Has one of those dangerous car tires outback lucky to get anyone to bid on it now?   ;D

Just kidding, looks nice but not for the price.

don't get me wrong. i like the look. but it is what it is. buy ratty bike cheap, strip parts, strip paint. sell parts, ask crazy money for remaining bits.
My bike is a candidate for sure, it drips rust everywhere it goes, has 4 different paint options, and Harley parts on it!

Good concept. I like it. Price on the other hand sucks. RIDE SAFE.

Looks great, but I'm confused, I often am. :)

I thought the purpose of a bobber was to strip off all unneeded weight while still keeping the bike somewhat street legal?

Although insignificant, the swing arm covers and fake air filters are that.  They look good, but add weight and do nothing.

I like it, it looks like it would chew you up and spit you out.

I second that! I'd pay 5500 and then blow it :cooldude:
What ever it is, it's better in the wind.
