Good brakes are good.... stopping soon enough is good too.  The laws of physics can be bent around the edges, but not ignored.

Even if this is not an approved parking spot (which it isn't), it seems like the rider could have picked up the obstacle sooner that he did, given the broad daylight and all.

Looks like fake or animated video to me....

Looks to me like the car parked in just a second...right in front of him. It was either hit the parked car or the one coming at him. Not saying it isn't fake, but if it is they did a good job of putting in the wiggle of the car he hit.
