Can a Valkyrie pull this type of camper?

The look cool. I'd like to have one to tow behind my car but the smallest one is way heavy for a bike.

so, if 820lbs. is too heavy with a little over 100 lbs. tongue weight, what in reality is the tongue and towing capacity weights of a Goldwing/Valkyrie type bike? 

I know it would be pushing the limits but would think 1,000 lbs. (at most) and 100 lbs. tongue weight should be do-able, am I wrong?   A trike would be best though and think that would be no problems pulling then, agree?

I pulled a Roll-A-Home tent trailer on an 8,000 mile ride around the country. Loaded it was about 425 lbs. No brakes on the trailer and it was he!! to stop in the rain. Wouldn't do it again. I now pull it behind an '05 Wing with no problems. Even rain is pretty good.

All HitchDoc trailer hitches have a maximum tongue weight of 40#.

For safety sake and handling, I wouldn't exceed more than about 50% of the bike's weight. Keep in mind that going down a mountain, you have more pushing the back end from behind than when on level ground. Add to that....going around a curve while going downhill, all that weight is trying to push your rear end sideways. And if it's wet pavement, guess what....your butt's going sideways.

good to know,  40-50 lbs. tongue weight and 500lbs. maximum towing.

I just thought it would be more is all like pushing 1000lbs. and 100lbs. tongue weight, guess not.

I'd be more inclined pushing those numbers if had a trike for sure though.

It would probably pull that much without any problem, but, you do need to be able to turn and stop. With that much weight, handling would be non-existant.

I left for Alaska, in 06 I think it was, with a teardrop trailer, I'd picked up for a buddy in Utah.    It weighed in at about 840#, no brakes, and had an air ride suspension, so no bouncy bouncy while traveling, you know those little cross the road cracks.     Yup those.

I had a CT on the back, so I wasn't too worried about stopping the trailer, but I did stay under 70 MPH on the slab.

When I got it off the back, dropped off, & headed North to Alask, I said to self, Self if you pull a stunt like that again, I'm going to tell you to bend over and grab your ankles.    As, I'll try to send my boot up my butt with no grease.
