Not being nosy, but how old of a lady was she?

It's tough losing a mom, I lost mine in 1992 at the age of 79.

Sorry for your loss. 72 ain't old anymore, besides it's no easier when they are 89. Lost my Ma 2 yrs. ago, at 89, seemed like she died young compared to her siblings, and I still cry. You will never get over it but you will get by when you think of the good times and the years you had with her. God bless you and yours in this time of sorrow.

Joe, that's so sad.  I really feel for you and your family.  Two months is not a lot of time between her diagnosis and passing.
Life comes with no guarantees or promises of tomorrow.  Appreciate and love your family as if each day may be the last.  Give thanks for the faith that we will be reunited with our loved ones, when the time comes.

Lost mine to Alzheimer's at 74. actually, she died around 70 and stopped breathing at 74. Those were the most heartbreaking 4 years of my life. Not sure which is worst, a sudden death or a slow lingering death with zero possibility of it ever getting better.

Moms are specail, dont think you ever get over losing them. Lost mine to Cancer also, she was in her 30s, I was a teenager.  Treatments back then were primitave at most.   Then they built Sam Rayburn in East Texas, and we had to move the Cemetary, so we had to bury her twice.  Occasionally I get over there for a visit.  Her and Dad are buried side by side, and it feels good to sit and talk to them for a little while.  Will be thinking of you and yours in this sad time.   The hurt does go away eventually and you just remember the love and experiences you shared.
