Obama is horrible!

Obama is horrible at destroying our economy.  :2funny:

U.S. stocks surged Tuesday as investors digested stellar economic data that appeared to put the housing and financial crises far in the rearview mirror.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at a record high of 15,409.39, after gaining more than 100 points, or 0.7%.

The S&P 500 rose 0.7%, and the Nasdaq added 0.9%.

At the same time, the yield on the 10-year Treasury note surged above 2.1% -- its highest level in more than a year.

Housing is hot. Consumers are confident: S&P/Case-Shiller reported that housing prices rose a better-than-expected 10.2% during the first quarter.  That was the biggest increase since 2007 and helped boost the entire sector.

The SPDR S&P Homebuilders (XHB) ETF gained more than 2% at one point.

Separately, the May reading on consumer confidence hit a five-year high and jumped more than expected.

obama is ...
A demagogue (/ˈdɛməɡɒɡ/) or rabble-rouser is a political leader in a democracy who appeals to the emotions, prejudices, and ignorance of the less-educated people of a population in order to gain power and promote political motives. Demagogues usually oppose deliberation and advocate immediate, violent action to address a national crisis; they accuse moderate and thoughtful opponents of weakness. Demagogues have appeared in democracies since ancient Athens. They exploit a fundamental weakness in democracy: because ultimate power is held by the people, nothing stops the people from giving that power to someone who appeals to the lowest common denominator of a large segment of the population.

I voted for Obama twice and given the opponents stacked up against him I would do so again without apology.

But the current state of the economy does not have me thrilled. Yes, we're doing better in some areas, but the stock market is largely smoke and mirrors. A strong stock market is not necessarily indicative of good times ahead for average people like you and me. In fact, just the opposite is often true. The rich are still getting richer and the poor are still getting poorer. The best thing Obama has done so far is keep us out of another war.

The stock market deals in dollars. What it doesnt reflect is what those dollars will buy, or more to the point, what they won't buy. As long as the fed continues to print money with no value behind it, the market will continue to grow. When the rest of the world decides the dollar isn't the reserve currency anymore, we'll see how important a strong stock market is.

Maybe if someone else explains it maybe just maybe you will begin to understand. In depth and shows manipulation of markets with no one going to jail. Watch and learn. Max is really good in the market and really worth listening to he even breaks it down so anyone can understand. Has a guest in the second half.
Keiser Report: Down is New Up, Up is New Down (E447)

What I find particularly interesting that although the price of gold has gone down through market manipulation the quantity sold has gone up. Gold never does good when people trust the economy, sometimes you have to look a little deeper. Talk about a disconnect just like Obama. To many things to go into here either watch the video and learn or keep on smoking that stuff. Not to mention you still have not answered any questions like your leader on the tax man, Benghazi, and many more topics that need to be addressed.

I guess you haven't dared peak at the revenue growth numbers of the S&P 500. Or the earning growth numbers. Or the cash flow numbers. Or the consumer spending numbers. Or the job growth numbers. Or GDP growth numbers. Or the collapsing federal deficit numbers. Or debt-to-GDP numbers. Or the dropping consumer debt numbers. Or the recent drop in commodity prices. Or the rising dollar numbers.

Yep, it's ALL about the interest rates, it's ALL about fed bond buying.  :uglystupid2:

Missing from what you posted.

"Central bankers keep their foot on the gas: Central bankers, including the Federal Reserve, have been fueling the 2013 rally by buying up government bonds to push down interest rates and entice investors to buy stocks.

Central bankers in Japan and Europe signaled they were prepared to keep pumping money into their respective economies to keep rates low, even amid signs of recovery. "

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit recently declared President Obama's recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board – while Congress was still in session – a blatant violation of the Constitution's separation of powers. If Obama does not recognize the Senate's lawful role in approving his appointments (a Democratically controlled body no less), coupled with his actions in Operation Fast and Furious, it's not much of a stretch to believe he is capable of ordering violent and bloody military operations on American soil.
Watching the denouement of Q1 2013 corporate earnings, one is tempted to pinch both arms in an effort to regain consciousness and perhaps an accurate perspective.   Maybe pinch is not the right term.  The world of finance is a very strange place at present, in part because traditional indicators of future earnings, revenue and growth seem to be completely divorced from reality – especially when it comes to the prices accepted by the financial markets. Global economies are weak and forward corporate revenues mostly invisible.  But financial markets are riding to new highs carried on a tidal wave of fiat money care of the Federal Open Market Committee and Bank of Japan.

Since the trough of 2009, S&P 500 operating earnings have risen almost 100% from about $65 to almost $115, while revenue has increased about 26% from just a little over $910 to a little shy of $1,150 per share, according to the latest chart book from Yardeni Research. That is a 4:1 ratio between earnings growth and the increase in underlying revenue.  Or put another way, in 2009 there was $14 in revenue underneath every dollar in earnings in the S&P 500 vs. about $10 today.  Pricing power has been nonexistent [and] sales volume increases have been very limited so the only route to profit has been cutting costs. That has pushed profit margins to all-time highs," Gary Shilling tells Bloomberg News.Shilling called the present market course "unsustainable," a profound insight if you consider that layoffs and capital releases are the two leading components of increased corporate efficiency ratios.  Yet most of the major market analytics providers remain bullish.

Daddie O you sure failed to mention the increased capital gains rates or why a thriving business has had to go from 28 to 1 employees. Seems another country back in 1938 had your same feelings........kinda scary.

Brennan Takes Oath on Draft Constitution—Without Bill of Rights
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/brennan-takes-oath-constitution-without-bill-rights-205110620.html

Oh, dear. This is probably not the symbolism the White House wanted.

Hours after CIA Director John Brennan took the oath of office—behind closed doors, far away from the press, perhaps befitting his status as America's top spy—the White House took pains to emphasize the symbolism of the ceremony.

"There's one piece of this that I wanted to note for you," spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters at their daily briefing. "Director Brennan was sworn in with his hand on an original draft of the Constitution that had George Washington's personal handwriting and annotations on it, dating from 1787."

Earnest said Brennan had asked for a document from the National Archives that would demonstrate the U.S. is a nation of laws.

"Director Brennan told the president that he made the request to the archives because he wanted to reaffirm his commitment to the rule of law as he took the oath of office as director of the CIA," Earnest said.

The Constitution itself went into effect in 1789. But troublemaking blogger Marcy Wheeler points out that what was missing from the Constitution in 1787 is also quite symbolic: The Bill of Rights, which did not officially go into effect until December 1791 after ratification by states. (Caution: Marcy's post has some strong language.)

That means: No freedom of speech and of the press, no right to bear arms, no Fourth Amendment ban on "unreasonable searches and seizures," and no right to a jury trial.

How ... symbolic?

The number of Americans designated as "not in the labor force" in February was 89,304,000, a record high, up from 89,008,000 in January, according to the Department of Labor. This means that the number of Americans not in the labor force increased 296,000 between January and February.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) labels people who are unemployed and no longer looking for work as "not in the labor force," including people who have retired on schedule, taken early retirement, or simply given up looking for work.

The increase marks the second month in a row, after rising in January from 88.8 million in December. Those not in the labor force had declined in December from 88.9 million in November.

(CNSNews.com) - The total number of people in the United States now receiving federal disability benefits hit a record 10,978,040 in May, up from 10,962,532 million in April, according to newly released data from the Social Security Administration.

The 10,978,040 disability beneficiaries in the United States now exceed the population of all but seven states. For example, there are more Americans collecting disability today than there are people living in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey or Virginia.

National debt, lets see, after 8 years of Clinton: 5.6 trillion. after 8 years of Bush: 10.5 trillion. After just 4 years of obama: 16.5 trillion. That comes to $141,000.00 per USA taxpayer. Yep, we're doing good !  I didn't like the look thru those rose colored glasses or the taste of that kool-aid after all.

It's obvious your extreme racism is clouding your view, but this is a good thing! You see, all those poor disabled people were legitimately disabled and needing of assistance under Bush, but because of Bush's pro war, pro business, racist anti people anti compassion policies they were denied the simple assistance that they required, and now that we have a good, honest, compassionate caring Dear Leader in charge, these people are finally getting the assistance they so desperately require.

We must have made great gains over the past month. We went from sequester to now advertising 27,000 new high paying job openings, such as , golf and bowling instructors, bartenders and more TSA employees.  Most of these range from $76K -$137K. Again, O ne B ig A ss M istake A merica has zero to do with the economy. I'm sure he'd rather have it the other way but that would mean adopting his redistribution of wealth agenda. And that ain't never gonna happen. Our economy is its own juggernaut, running on its own engine without regard to the poor unfortunate soul that happens to be residing at 1600 Pennsylvania.

The strength of the economy, whether real or imagined, is not going to save him from the current sinking ship he presides over. Benghazi, the IRS, and the DOJ cast a pall that cannot be erased. His AG is a liar. His IRS is corrupt. And Benghazi is gaining more traction as well.

What was that about this clown going down as one of the best in history?

That's a laugh that one can wake up in the middle of the night and still get a good chuckle.
