Now, now, be nice at least it is a Honda.??  I think???

Actually you of all people Joe should know it really doesn't matter what you ride as long as you ride, am I correct?
:cooldude:

My wife thinks I am nuts bought a Taiwan made Kymco s250cc people scooter used for 1 grand late last fall first of December right before the snow flew drove it home dirt cheap and I have been riding that able to go 70 mph if need be running to nearby bigger towns to get groceries, etc.   Hey,  don't care if anybody laughs at me I am in the wind and that is all that counts right?

Plus,  I get 62 avg mpg and look so cool on it???   :2funny: :crazy2:

I figure if it lasts me 2-3 more years the gas savings pushing 4 bucks per gallon will have purchase price paid for in gas savings alone, well maybe?  I even pulled away from a few Harleys at a stop light luckily caught them asleep at the wheel and have passed, believe it or not, 3 cars in a row going 55 mph but won't be doing that again since top speed is 72 mph and had nothing left being floored with oncoming traffic closing in on me very fast.

I must say though that 250cc scooter is buttery smooth as compared to all HD's at idle even the slight jiggling of the mirrors at idle is way better than any HD at idle.

You could trade that Kymco for a F6B and pass those 3 cars with ease and look the same to those 3 cars in the rear view mirror. Only thing is you wouldn't be riding it to get groceries, you'd be riding to your other job to pay for it! ;D

I know I can get more than 1K in trade for it but still out 18K for a new F6B, so not worth it.  I'd never spend over 13K on any new or used cycle ever since cannot justify spending that kind of dough to drive it 8 months of the year tops and 1/3 of that is either raining or too windy or have other things to do, etc.  Even 8K on my Valk was pushing it since usually only put 3-4K miles on it per year with last year being the most pushing 5K with an early spring with not much rain during the summer months.

Now, if I won the lottery,  that would be a different story!  :cooldude:  Goldwing all the way to Dairy Queen!    :o

I rode with some Wingers and it's true, they do stop at every DQ, not that I object. They also know where every buffet is in the U.S.
One of them told me B U F F E T stood for Big Ugly Fat Folks Eatin' Together! :2funny:
Back to the black/red stripe Valk, if I was able to buy another, I would be very interested. That is a hot looking combination.
