Are there any members close to Kingman AZ?? I have been notified by the state that a boat and trailer that is still in my name has been abandoned with a broken trailer and is in the possession of a towing company in Kingman. The boat that was on the trailer they have is a twenty eight foot Bayliner cabin cruiser, and I would like to know the condition,, and if it is still the same boat on the trailer. I dont want to sound unfair, but I am not sure I am getting good information from the towing company people over the phone.

why is it still in your name?  did you sell it and the new owner never registered it?  does this mean you're going to be stuck with the towing bills?

I'd almost guess he'd like for you to look at it and then take a picture to send to him.

Now, that is just a guess.        The Devil made me do it,  and it is Friday, that is my hell raisin day.

Hey Meathead,,, thanks, I was looking for someone to go over and verify the hull number and access the general condition, but the bomb has been defused....

I got enough information to find out that it is my trailer, but it is not my boat that is on the trailer. The boat on the trailer is a stolen boat out Ohio!!, not the 28 ft. Bayliner. The trailer had broke every crossbeam from front to rear, and it is only the axles holding it together..HA...  Those crossbeams had been rusted pretty badly in the middle (salt water use) and had some cut out channel welded over the bad spots and painted up nice......  The welds all broke,, don't know what kind of torture they had given it to make that happen,,,, no telling how many stolen boats that trailer has hauled across the country since last August..  The Bayliner is gone, and since I am out of state, I am not liable for any recovery charges on the trailer or boat.

Glad it worked out ok for you. Did they catch the boat thieves?

I got no information on that....... I don't even know if there are any leads.....  for all I know, they may be investigating me!   It is my trailer as far as they are concerned.
