Having or playing with Toy Guns is not the issue..... but not being taught proper gun handling as a child is.  If kids are given toy guns and left unsupervised and not given the proper guidance..... then they can only learn what they see on TV.... What's that, too much violence on TV?  Well, maybe the parents are leaving the TV be the parent and not fulfilling their obligation to their children and society by supervising and parenting, what their child see, learns and does.

Judging by this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012

I'd say there are about 4,839,958 sane adults left in California.

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

All the british law officers I've ever seen carried battons and spray deterents.

The Queens guards did carry rifles, however.

I however, am always armed. I believe in the 2nd Amendment.

I am not sure exactly what normal is,,,,, but I ain't like a lot of other Kalifornistans!

I repeat what I have said for years,,, the moment my wife says we can leave this state, she had better move or she will get run over by me loading up my stuff in the truck.
At bed time the night she says it's ok to leave state,,, by daylight I will be packed enough to leave.
Some clothes some snacks. My guns ammo bikes and some of my tools is about all I need to take with me on the first and ONLY load carried out of town!

Hayward is just a few miles from me,,, didn't think that level of stupidity was in that area.

I'd say quite a few are normal and yes we get embarrassed a lot by our elected officials and stupid school teachers. We are sticking it out so when the big one hits and the central valley becomes ocean front property, we'll be one the most conservative red states. LOL!!
Work like it depends on you, pray like it depends on God.

Well, that depends on what you consider "normal."  I suppose you mean people who think the way you do?  You don't have to like California or Californians.  We can get along just fine without you.

The thing that floors me is that in the 60's/70's kalafornia was a utopia for freedom lovers and civil liberties. At least that was my take on it.

And now many of these former do anything you want, leave me alone "to do my thing" free sprits have turned into hateful, deceitful, overbearing, big government, Orwellian freedom haters. WTH happened?

DonaldCC is a Kali resident & he appears to be "somewhat" normal.  ;D :o :2funny: 8)

But I attribute that to his time spent living down here in Central Florida.  ;)
The Kali nonsense hasn't completely ruined him yet!  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

That was sort of what took me from a farming town in Central FL to CA in the 70's.  Beach Boys, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Haight-Ashbury and the Navy.  Was quite the experience.  Would not trade it for anything! :cooldude:

I got as far as Phoenix, lived there and worked as a welder for a few months. Wound up homeless for a week, slept on a picnic table in (North Mountain park maybe???) until I had another paycheck in my pocket and debated whether to head home to Indiana or on to California. Decided on back home.

Liberty Bell

Life is not a journey to the grave with the expectation of arriving in one pretty, well preserved piece but, to be skidded into broadside at full speed, battered, bruised, and thoroughly used up, having poked the grim reaper in the eye shouting "GERONIMO"

I guess I have episodes of "somewhat" normal, but I like to be out on the fringes at times as well ;D  I do like the variety in CA though I sometimes may disagree with a few viewpoints.
