Hmmmm, maybe I've been duped by Fox News...perish the thought. I guess a saving grace is that who would have believed the concept of drones 25 yrs ago; pilotless airplanes that are controlled from 2000 miles away and can launch an assortment of weapons.

Time will tell if it's for real or a joke.

Google his name. He's legit. Formerly of Buell Motorcycles. Nothing in the article is implausible, except an electric motor having an "ignition" switch.

Thanks, Gryph...it seemed plausible to me.  :-\

In 1968 in Viet Nam, the seals had stealth jet skis. Totally silent and they'd run up rivers with bombs at dusk. Returned at dawn without bombs. Hmmmm!!

I was at a vintage m/c show last Sunday, and a local m/c dealer  had a Zero bike on display there. Seen him smoke the back tire at a swap meet earlier this spring. Its pretty weird not hearing a gas engine, but a humming sound when you twist the go faster  :-\
I feel more like I do now,than I did a while ago.

Before I gave back my Dish Network I followed the O C C build of that electric drag bike they built.  ;) If they ever get a good range-250  300 miles a charge and a full recharge while eating a meal Hour or hour and 15 mins then i'm in.  :cooldude: Remember-I've been known to take off after church and wad up 350-450 miles cause I can.  :2funny: Don't know if they will have such a thing as long as i'm still sucking wind but I can hope.  :coolsmiley: RIDE SAFE.

You'd think they could come up with an alternator so as to recharge as you travel.   :cooldude: :crazy2:

That would decrease the range, as more energy would be expended driving the alternator recharging the battery, what they need is a fuel cell to convert fuel to electrical energy silently.

The company I work for has vehicles that run on fuel cells using hydrogen, but the Obummer cut the funding for the infrastructure needed for the to be practical.
