Rode with 6 others to Tellico Plains
Tellico Grains Bakey is a gem. http://tellico-grains-bakery.com/

After lunch I left the group and rode theCherohala, Robbinsville to Hwy 28, Moonshiner, Deals Gap (usual slow parades of cruisers - oh well), Moonshiner to Fontana Village and then the back road to Lodge at Tellico, then the Cheroahala both ways.

Had dinner at Carolina Kitchen in Robbinsville 1 1/2 thumbs up. (It's in the location where the Chinese restaurant was)

Cherohala again Sunday morning. Beautiful and not one vehicle held me up.

Then zigged and zagged to T.W.O. to find it open for business. Hooray!!! Had a burger which was OK. Service was speedy considering they were feeding about 80 dual sport riders!

Looked at the radar and saw rain pushing north on the south side of Atlanta. Zipped south and got soaked in the last 15 minutes before home. Grrrrrrrrrr...........

Thanks for the reports on the good eatin' places...

How do you start to zig and zag to T.W.O. from Tellico Plains? Go down the road that takes you
past Fields of the Wood?
