Need some assistance in the Tallahasee Florida area

Anyone know where I might be able to get a tire replaced in the Tallahasee area?  I'm broke down with westbound on I-10 east of Tallahasee.  Progressive is sending roadside assistance, but they have not been much help on where to take the bike.

Tire does not appear bad, it may just be the air inlet.  I can't remember what you call that thing right now.

Thanks in advance.

Yep, might be the valve stem.  I'm checking that now.

I'm reasonably confident it's the valve stem.  Tire looks fine, after putting some air in it I found moving the valve stem induces a leak.

I've got the tools to pull the front tire, but nothing to lift or stabilize the bike.

Just talked to Chauffer.  His tire went flat at highway speed.  He's OK, but had to wrestle it some.

Insurance company towed the bike for him, but he's stuck at a hotel until Monday.

Valve stem appears cracked at the base.   He's looking for a dealer to have both tire and valve replaced.

Posted your situation on the not very active Florida board. Maybe someone will check in, see the post, go to the General board, and be able to help you out in some way.

Good Luck.

Late flash.
Here are two numbers from the Tallahassee Craigslist you might want to try.

I have spare valve stems both OEM and the metal Patchboy type.  I am about 2 hrs. away East of you.  Let me know where you are and I can bring them and some tools.  The stem can be changed without removing the wheel.  Three Eight SIX 496 TWO six 55

Just talked to Thunderbolt.  Looks like with his assistance I might be back on the road later today.  Awesome.  Thanks.

Dave should be good to go now.  We got a new stem in and he was getting checked out of the hotel before the deadline when I left at about 1145.

Thunderbolt - you da' man!  Thanks for helping brother Dave out, driving 2 hours and then fixing it. Hope you used the metal stem so that this won't happen to him again!

Thunderbolt

He was a little concerned about the tire after it was run low for a few miles, but it looked like it should make it back to Texas.  I was more than glad to help.  Just paying it forward.  90 degree Patchboy metal stem.

Got back home to Texas a couple of hours ago completing an eleven day trip.  The front tire survived; albeit a slight pressure loss since the valve stem was replaced.

They simply don't make em better than you, Thunderbolt.  Volunteering five hours of your Sunday to get someone you have never met (me) back on the road at least a day early is simply amazing.  Thanks again.

Thunderbolt

Glad you got home safe Dave.  I know what it's like to be in trouble on a trip.  I had two tires blow on the 5th wheel on a Sunday afternoon in Atlanta.  After I changed the first one beside the Interstate I had no spare.  Might want to go ahead and change that tire out. :)
