Manhunt in progress, interesting

There is an ongoing manhunt in this area. This a rural mostly agricultural area. A carful of hispanics has been driving around randomly shooting people including a local police officer. Every road has a blockade and the law has the dogs working and the choppers in the air after these low life POS crashed the car and fled on foot. They are believed to still be armed and I would believe they are right. I just came in from making sure no one was on the property or in any of the buildings. The low flying choppers and lights bring back memories. I just counted 7 cruisers converging at the corner [ 1/4 mile away]. Gotta step out the back and watch.

Almost the exact same scenario happened in the large piece of property adjacent to mine about a month ago!
Hispanic down the road from here had apparently been living in a vacant house and robbing the neighbors when they went to work and storing it in the vacant home. He then stole a truck and trailer with a bike on the back and was chased a couple blocks to the property next door. He ran the truck into the ditch and took off on foot into the woods. He was armed as well. Chopper in the air and Sherriff cars all around the perimeter. Dogs and men on foot for most of the afternoon. Locked up my doors but kept working outside as normal except for a little extra protection.

There is a big difference between knowing the racial identity of a perp and blaming the actions of a perp on his racial identity.

To say that "five Hispanics in a car have been involved in criminal activity" is not racist... at the very least it provides minimal information as to the identity of the criminals while immediately eliminating all other races.

On the other hand, were someone to say, "They commit these robberies because they are Hispanic"... well... that would be racist.

Possibly, you can understand the difference?

we all can, but most of the crime news stories from MSNBC come out with NO details of the perp except height, weight and general description of clothes. I can provide examples

So I can report the following without be called a bigot?

Based on reports filed by victims, blacks committed 66 percent of all violent crime in New York in 2009, including 80 percent of shootings and 71 percent of robberies. Blacks and Hispanics together accounted for 98 percent of reported gun assaults. And the vast majority of the victims of violent crime were also members of minority groups. <Source: New York Times>

I got to hand it to the liberal press though.  When this same data was reported by the Huff Post the Headline was "NYPD Report Says 96 Percent Of Shooting Victims Are Black or Latino".  That is great spin in anybody's book!

The names of these low-lifes have been released. They are known local drug dealers. Apparently the shootings were deals gone wrong. So the illegal mexicans come here and find drug dealing far more profitable and a whole lot easier than day labor. Capitalism at its best, they learn quick.
