Had a nice 200m. ride through the countryside today. Down along a small river I had some pretty tall grass on my side and as I was just powering up  I caught one of them long legged critters on my side out of the corner of my eye. 1st the grass was movin then I spotted a flash of brown goin the same way as us. Her head finally gets above the grass as we are doin about 35 , Like as if we were in a horse race runnin neck an neck, seemed like i could see vaines poppin out of her head a she was struglin to beat me. as I got up to 40 she dissapeared. All I could do was laugh. She had only been about 8' on my side.        Yesterday I was on a Charity ride a doe flew across the road in front of the trike that was in front me.

I think she woud of mowed them down. Couldn't been much room left to the river bank. It really wasn't a real long race maybe like a 50 yd. dash or so, but it sure was a hell of a sight to see.
