fender washer mod

I know I read about how and where to do this. but finding it again..easier possibly to ask..can someone explain exactly how to do the washer mod as to give more from for darkside?

here ya go.. this worked very well for my CT.  You may find you need to use more than one washer (I did)
First loosen the right side shock fastener, then remove the right side end of frame fwd rail bolt,  put washer/washers in place and replace and loosely tighten the fwd rail bolt. then tighten the shock bolt.  Finally finish tightening the fwd rail bolt.  This causes the rear bolt/nut to pull the fender out away from the tire a bit.

Hey Cliff, Matt in Derry  I will have to try that as all I am doing this year is slowly workin on bike as next month I finally get surgery on ankle tore cartilage off bone doctor says no riding this year(but we will see) so when ankle and money allow I work on bike.    Be Well  Matt
