How about a ride report for us poor ones that couldn't make it.

Tom had a grandaughter thing or something.

Harv's mother isn't too well so he is visiting.

I had a flat battery on the Chevy and couldn't get the Valk Trike out.  Buried it too deep I guess.

My son has worked on the Chevy Trike all day.    Got a new battery from Interstate battery.   He took it out for a test run and it swung and swayed like Sammy Kay did years ago.

He got the laser out, set it up and did a check.    Found out when we put the degreed triple tree in neither one of us was smart enough to think about it throwing the geometry off.     Re adjusted the 4 link, and it seems to be 'A' okay now.       If he lets me take it home I'll try to do the Adams Poker Run tomorrow.

So if ya would, how many showed up, where did ya eat and anyone have a problem?   Did ya miss all the rain.    Weather map showed it all North and West of us.

We made it home at 5pm. 6 bikes total. Fuzzy, Smiths, Brad, us and two new riders. Joe from Aububon and Bill from Atlantic. Nice to see everyone again. Hope to see everyone at Inzane.

Hello all,
Thanks to those who were able to join us today. (Rob & Terri, Fuzzy & Eve, Brad, and 2 extras from the Atlantic area whose names I can't remember~sorry!)  The weather cooperated, but we had a heck of a tail wind on the way home.  We wound our way down to Bethany and had lunch at Toot Toot's yummy buffet. We then split off at different spots to head home.  We ended up coming home by way of hwy 69 and having fond memories of Frank Flickinger (especially the arguing he engaged in with RJ!!) as we came through Osceola.  Brad headed on to Ankeny and Kevin and I swung by Route 65 HD Shop in Indianola to see if our oldest son was done with work and wanted to stop at Dairy Queen with us.  He is their detail kid, aka: shop rat, grunt help, gopher, wash & wax boy.   They don't seem to care that he rides a Kawasaki KLR650 and we don't seem to mind that he has a full time job!!

Hope to see some of you that couldn't make it this time later this summer!

Mike & Robin...we missed you today.  Sending you thoughts and prayers as you deal with this bump in the road.  Take care.

Good report Jodi.

I ended up with  dead battery on the Chevy Trike and the Valkyrie Trike I couldn't get to it for all the crap in the garage in front of it.    If the damn dead battery hadn't occured, I'd of been on the ride.

My son called his parts store and they deliver him a Delco.    Hauled it out here on his Benneli, put it in and took the Chevy Trike to his house to run the lazer on it.   We put the 6* tree in it last fall and never thought of realigning the suspension.   Yupper, it was out and that was what was causing the shake rattle and roll it would do about 55 to 60 MPH on up to top end, getting worse he faster ya run, scary.
