Rivco Air Horns

  My Rivco dual trumpet air horns quit working this morning after many years of tooting. I swear they have saved my life, or at least a few bruises more than once. I use them almost every time I ride to safely get out of the city to good riding zones. I inspected my air lines and they crumpled to pieces in my hand.
  Question...what type of line should I replace it with? Any like diameter from the Auto-parts good enough? Does it have to be a pneumatic line?

Doug, I seem to remember in the plumbing dept. at Lowe's or maybe it was Hope Depot there were rolls of hose for sale and you could buy it by the foot.  I don't see why any hose that will hold air and be close to the right size would not work fine.  If that doesn't pan out, just take a piece with you to Napa and you can also probably buy it by the foot.

Doug, we just sell small diameter hose (from 1/4 to 3/4) in rolls at HD,  and it's all vinyl or polyethylene until we reach the big stuff. I would probably try an auto parts store. I'm not sure if Lowes,    sells it by the foot or not but it will still probably be vinyl or pe. Jeff

Doug, Ace has good ones that withstand the air pressure, its about 49c a foot, just make sure they fit the nipple/nozzle you got, may be u should take that nozzle part with to avoid air leak and get a the tight hose needed., make sure your pump is working too,with or without the horns..hope this would help

  I used regular Automotive vacuum line. I was looking for something with a little more class to it, wire braided?  Everything braided came pre manufactured with fittings that would have to be cut off. The last time tried to cut wire braided line it wasn't pretty. Cheapest repair yet on my Valk
