No. But then I wouldn't call this a sailboat either.

Click for the blog, "Two Wheels."
Here there be Dragons.

gordorad

Nope, and technically a trike is not a motorcycle either.   Most definitions include "two wheeled" vehicle.

mo·tor·cy·cle
/ˈmōtərˌsīkəl/
Noun
A two-wheeled vehicle that is powered by a motor and has no pedals.

Looks like a "spidered-out goldwing trike" but that won't fit on a license plate, better just go with quad, or in this case "Land Yacht"!

I would think of it as a car without a/c, heater, weather protection, or safety equipment.  And based on price, (not known but by guess) rather expensive for it's size.   The Goldwing probably gets better mileage than the Valk, but there are lots of small cars out there with as good or better mileage.

Momz

It is a Hannigan kit for those folks that want something a bit more "stable" than a trike.
I'd never do that to any motorcycle, but there is a toilet seat for every a$$.

No, but it look neat. I might be the only one that thinks that??

Four wheeled sportbikes are becoming a trend in Detroit.

I saw one of those in '09 at Hannigan booth at WingDing in Tulsa.  To me, it was COOL!

I'll never have a trike, but I'd ride that!

The staffer there told me that the reason it was not widely marketed is that, by law, it's a car, and doesn't pass those pesky impact tests.

it's pretty neat
too bad they don't offer the front conversion by itself
A reverse trike Wing. That'd make the Can Am folks jealous!

I think they do offer the front conversion seperate :cooldude:

Depends on which definition of "motorcycle" you wanna run with.

If you go with the "2 wheeled motorized vehicle" then no, it's not.

If you go with the "motorized vehicle that you get on instead of get in" then it is.

Personally, I stick with the "2 wheeled motorized vehicle" definition, but that's just me.

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

Florida definition is:

What is a Motorcycle?
In Florida, as defined by law, a motorcycle is a motor vehicle powered by a motor with a displacement of more than 50 cubic centimeters, having a seat or saddle for the use of the rider, and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground, but excluding a tractor or moped. 322.01(25)

I guess if the interpretaion was strict, a Voyager kit would make your bike, not a motorcycle?

Technically I don't think the Voyager kit has all wheels touching at one time.... and believe only 3 are touching at once.  Think about it... the drive wheel has to be sufficiently lower than the two side wheels in order to drive, and thereby making only one of the side wheels touch at a time.  I could be wrong....

I've only seen a few. Both Voyager wheels are on the ground at the same time as the bike's rear wheel. The Voyager wheels are sprung to allow that.
In fact, the Voyager is set up with pre-load to have the correct amount of kit weight on the kit tires (which run about 20psi). This varies by bike and has an effect on the amount of lean the bike will have between the kit wheels.

Liberty Bell

Guy that owns the trike shop near me has one....

It looks good. He rode it out to Sturgis a couple years ago....

Looks like an ATV on steroids.

If I had my choice between that and a Stallion, I'd take that...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the expectation of arriving in one pretty, well preserved piece but, to be skidded into broadside at full speed, battered, bruised, and thoroughly used up, having poked the grim reaper in the eye shouting "GERONIMO"

I'd ride it if it could be licensed.  Just another way to get in the wind.  Hoser  :cooldude:
I don't want a pickle, just wanna ride my motor sickle
